Gracy Singh Bollywood Star

Another bollyWood actress Gracy Singh was born in a Punjabi family on 20th July 1980 in Delhi. Her star sign is Cancer. She is considered to be a very simple girl in real life. She love dancing and that is why she had been working in a dancing group “Planets” for about three years. In her school time she used to take part in Bharat Natyam Classis during her vacations. Later she moved to Mumbai where she got first break in Zee Tv serial ”Amanat” in 1997.

This serial was one of the most popular serial of that time which was a great opportunity for Gracy to show her acting skills and experience and learn more. With the successes of this serial Grace got small roles in movies also and her first film was “Hu Tu Tu” which was released in (1999) and then “Hum Apkay Dil Main Rehtay Hain” which was also released in (1999). Since she got very small roles in the films she didn’t get enough response to become a leading actress. Grace is a very brave, hardworking and talented actress.

Then in (2001) Gracy got her first big break in Ashutosh Gowariker film “Lagan “opposite Amir khan, her soft and pretty face was suitable for the village girl role. “Langan” was a block buster hit of that year and also nominated to the Oscars and also became very beneficial for Gracy and she got a tremendous response and eventually became a leading actress of the Hindi film industry. “Lagan” created history and Gracy Singh won three awards that year.

She also got offer for the film “Qyamat: city under threat” which was released in (2003) but she didn’t do the film because of the confliction with director on costume. Later Neha Dhupeya did the film. The reason is that Gracy do not want to expose her body and that’s why she has refused many films. As glamour and exposure rule on film industry Gracy haven’t worked much up till now.

in 2003 Gracy gave another hit of her career “Muna Bhai MBBS” with Sunjay Dutt, This film also create history in Indian film industry. Like other actresses Gracy Singh has also given hits and flops in her filmy career from (1999 to 2007), Movies in which she worked are.

Unfortunately except for “Lagan” and “Muna Bhai MBBS” all of her films were flops. Let’s see in the future in her Upcoming films Gracy might again be able to create a magic like the magic which she creates in Lagan and Muna Bhai MBBS.
